Description:The Financial Controller is responsible for
undertaking all aspects of financial management, including
corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget
and forecasts preparation, as well as development of internal
control policies and procedures. Financial Controller
responsibilities will also include financial risk management.The
Financial Controller works under the general supervision of the
Chief Financial OfficerSUMMARYAll employees are expected to perform

The person doing this job is responsible for a variety of tasks
that lead to a high level of customer satisfaction.ESSENTIAL
FUNCTIONS:Strong communication including writing, speaking and
active listening. Great customer service skills. Good
problem-solving and critical thinking skills. In depth knowledge of
accounting and industry best practices.Manage all accounting
operations including Billing, RCM, A/P, GL, Fixed Asset Accounting,
Treasury Functions and Revenue RecognitionCoordinate and direct the
preparation of the annual budget and financial forecasts and report
variancesPrepare and publish timely monthly, quarterly and annual
financial statementsCoordinate the preparation of regulatory
reportingResearch technical accounting issues for complianceOversee
month-end and year-end close processEnsure quality control over
financial transactions and financial reportingManage and comply
with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements
and tax filingsDevelop and document business processes and
accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal
controlsCoordinate with auditors for annual audit process and tax
accountants for annual tax filingsFollow all HIPAA regulations as
outlined in the HIPAA Policy and Procedure ManualMaintain a high
level of accuracy regarding all detailsMaintain a high level of
accuracy and confidentiality concerning financial filesExcellent
customer service skills for both inter and intra department.Be
compliant with organizational policies and procedures and related
departmental procedures Analyze financial data and key performance
indicators to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing
actionable insights and recommendations to drive financial
performance.Collaborate with operational teams to develop and
monitor financial metrics, productivity benchmarks, and operational
dashboards. Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals,
fostering a culture of high performance, continuous learning, and
professional growth.Other duties as assigned by
supervisor.Requirements:Knowledge, Skills, AbilitiesProven working
experience as a Financial ControllerThorough understanding of US
GAAP accounting standards, practices and proceduresExperience in
creating financial statements and analyses for board
presentationsExperience with general ledger functions and
month-end/year end close processesAbility to multi-task.Proficient
in Microsoft Office suite and similar softwareProficient in Sage
Intacct or similar accounting softwareAbility to review, prioritize
and act on all assigned tasks and email communications promptly and
efficiently.Ability to manage remote accounting resources,
including off-shore.Multi-location and multi-entity experience
preferred including Corporate Practice of Medicine (CPOM)
principlesWORKING CONDITIONSWork is performed in an office
setting.Physical/Mental Demands:Varied activities including
prolonged sitting, standing, walking, reaching, bending, lifting.?
Requires full range of body motion including lifting, manual and
finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination.Occasionally lift and
carry items weighing up to 20 pounds.Manual dexterity to operate a
computer, telephone, copier, fax, and other such office equipment
as necessary.Corrected vision and hearing to normal range.Ability
to work under stressful situations.Fast and continuous work pace
with variable workload.EDUCATION CERTIFICATIONAdvanced Degree in
AccountingCPA or CMA RequiredEXPERIENCEAt least seven years of
increasingly responsible experience in accounting and
controllership roles, preferably in an occupational medicine or
health care setting.REQUIREMENTSExcellent computer skills, Advanced
Accounting and Controllership knowledge.
