STRUT is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide finance and accounting support for our profit and non-profit divisions. The Senior Accountant will oversee routine and specialized accounting functions for STRUT and STRUT CARES, including guiding the month-end close process, handing more complex reconciliations, reviewing the work of a bookkeeper, and working closely with outsourced tax/auditors.This position is full-time and based in our San Clemente office reporting to our C.E.O.Accounting:--- Monitors processes and the effectiveness of business controls and initiates improvements.--- Ensures proper control, recording and classification of transactions.--- Uses appropriate systems and tools to input data, generate reports, conduct specializedresearch projects, and respond to inquiries.--- Demonstrate strong understanding of GAAP; serve as in-house contact on accountingissues while closely liaising with outsourced CPA/Tax firm--- Prepares and reviews journal entries, schedules, filings, and various reports includingsales and purchase.--- Assists with researching, reconciling, and resolving balance sheet, income statementand/or statement of cash flow inconsistencies.--- Assists with period end consolidations and financial statement preparation (i.e. incomestatements and/or balance sheets), including reviewing and interpreting financialreporting requirements in accordance with GAAP and STRUT policies.--- Prepare payroll reconciliations, journal entries, and trend analyses.--- Support outsourced CPA firm with direct and indirect tax filings; prepare workpapersand prepared-by-client materials as needed.--- Review 1099s, sales and use tax filings, and other administrative tasks at year-end.--- Review routine journal entries created by bookkeeper/accounting associate.--- Support any external/internal audit inquiries.Finance/FP&A: --- Support annual budgeting process, including updating/analyzing 2-5 year plans.--- Conduct variance analysis, compare budget to forecast, and prepare ad-hoc trendanalyses.--- Respond to requests for reports/analyses from management.--- Create/maintain forecasting dashboards with PowerBI and SharepointOperations:--- Assist with ad-hoc operational tasks pertaining to sales, job costing, new product creation, investor/owner relations, internal controls, etc.Requirements:--- 3-5+ years of accounting/financial management experience--- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business with an accounting or financeemphasis--- Experience in both for-profit and not-for-profit accounting preferred--- Quickbooks experience highly preferred--- Knowledge of Microsoft Suite, including Excel/Word, preferably on Mac OS--- Experience with analytical/visualization tools, including PowerBI, Tableau, SQL, etc.--- Knowledge of collaboration tools, including SharePoint, Slack, Monday.com, etc.PI230035909
