community-driven environment. The Position: We are seeking an
experienced Senior Tax Manager & Tax Managers to lead a
high-performing tax team while managing complex compliance and
consulting engagements. This role combines technical expertise,
leadership responsibilities, client management, and business
development, ideal for someone looking to make a significant impact
within a highly respected practice. What You’ll Do: Lead, mentor,
and coach tax professionals at all levels, including oversight of
onboarding, training, performance evaluations, and workflow
management. Conduct and supervise complex tax compliance, including
multi-state, federal, and specialized filings for individuals,
corporations, partnerships, fiduciaries, nonprofits, estates, and
gifts. Perform advanced tax research and stay current with evolving
laws and regulatory developments. Manage client relationships
through proactive communication, issue resolution, and strategic
tax planning guidance. Support business development: meet
prospective clients, prepare proposals, evaluate needs, and
strengthen the firm’s market presence. Review and respond to IRS
and state agency notices, inquiries, and audit matters. Delegate
projects effectively while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and
adherence to best practices. Collaborate closely with firm
leadership to drive department success, efficiency, and growth.
Work additional hours during peak seasons as required. Handle
special projects and related duties as assigned. Job
Qualifications: Required: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting,
Taxation, or related field. Active CPA or Bar license. 8 years of
public accounting experience with a tax focus. Strong tax research
skills and experience with complex, multi-entity filings.
Proficiency with tax compliance software (e.g., GoSystems) and
Microsoft Office. Excellent communication, judgment, organizational
ability, and time-management skills. Ability to manage competing
deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Preferred: Master’s degree
in Accounting or Taxation. Significant leadership or supervisory
experience. Job Qualifications: Required: Bachelor’s degree in
