It is the responsibility of this position to ensure incoming orders
received are correctly separated and placed into the appropriate
folders to allow timely order creation by the intake team; to
ensure STAT orders are clearly documented and the naming convention
Separating orders received via FAXQ into the appropriate
Review order for STAT requests
Assign the appropriate naming convention to each order
Assign incoming documents to the correct person by reviewing
Empower to determine the owner of the order at the time of the
Attends all department meeting; stay current with industry changes
and department processes
Back up support for Intake Specialist when needed
Process credit cards
Respond to email and voicemail within 24 hours
Performs additional work duties as assigned
Attendance & Timeliness
Consistently reports to work every day when scheduled. Arrives to
work on time. Works until end of scheduled shift or as directed by
supervisor. Leaves and returns from breaks promptly and on time.
Uses sick leave or other time off only as appropriate. Exhibits a
willingness to work overtime and fill in on unscheduled shifts.
Consistently strives to understand, anticipate, and meet the needs,
expectations, and satisfaction levels of patients and other
customers." Errors, inefficiencies, and inaccuracies are brought to
management's attention with suggestions for improvement. Develops
innovative solutions to departmental problems, Identifies and
implements methods of controlling costs or generating revenue while

GENERAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force frequently and/or
a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift,
carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work
involves sitting most of the time.
The person in this position must be able to operate the following

Personal Computer (constantly - more than 90% of the time)
Telephone System (rarely - less than 5% of the time)
