A company is looking for a Temporary Weekend Editor, Breaking
News.
Key Responsibilities:
Assign, edit, and write major news stories for a general audience
with quick turnaround
Identify and explain topics and questions raised by news stories
through research and reporting
Spot fresh and interesting stories not widely shared and write
multiple posts daily on given topics
Required Qualifications:
5-plus years of experience as a full-time writer or editor
Proven ability to write quickly and accurately
Outstanding writing, grammar, and editing abilities
Understanding of content trends and technologies, including CMS,
social media, and SEO best practices
Strong interest in business news and financial coverage
