You will be responsible for driving detailed conversations on product functionality and integration as well as developing conceptual modelssolution proposalsand other documentation as required for platform solutions in support of a customer's smooth transition from salesthrough implementation.Experian Partner Solutions helps 300+ businesses protect their 60M+ customers by building enterprise-level (1) identity(2) creditand (3) data breach cybersecurity SaaS products in a white-label (B2B2C) branded format. Experian Partner Solutions and its 'sister' business unit Direct-to-Consumer form Experian Consumer Servicesa $900M business segment inside the $5B global information services company commonly known as Experian.What you'll be doingBecome a technical expert in EPS platform capabilities and technologiesBe a key and active participant in sales callsand visits to prospective clients when neededBe the primary resource for platform demos during sales callsand client onsite meetingsListen to client needsand translate their business needs into the terminology/functionality of our platformDesign the platform solution to be configuredand/or developedfor a prospective clientEnsure solution designs are completewith abundant detailand are stored appropriatelyProperly set expectations of prospective clientsrelative to platform functionality on the roadmapLead conversations with prospective clients on integration stepsprocessesand access pointsConduct formal handoffwith the Sales Directorupon contract signature to the Client Delivery teamMaintainand distributea weekly snapshot of prospects based on their stage in the sales pipelineParticipate in pipeline review meetingshelping to shape confidence internally in upcoming dealsUpdate corporate knowledge base with summary information about new clientsand their workflowIdentify use cases not yet covered by our current platformand submit them to Product ManagementWork cross-departmentally to compile timecostand level of importance for newly identified use casesSupport Sales Directors during RFP responses with answers to questions and/or documentationQualificationsWhat your background looks likeA Sales Engineer must have experience in solutioningon SaaS platform technologies as well as communication and presentation skillsboth verbal and written. The optimal candidate will have a strong presence and be able to think on their feet while meeting with prospective clients. The Sales Engineer will leverage an ability to quickly grasp new use casesand acquire new platform knowledge through independent studyas well as interaction with other team members. The optimal candidate will be able to discuss technology through the language of businessknow when to be more or less detailedand evoke confidence in our solutions and technology to help remove any barriers a prospective client may raise.5-10 years of total experiencewith some time in a client-facing technical role; Technical PMSolution Architectetc.2-5 years of experience participating in the sales cycle at a technology company as a technical resource preferredBachelor's degree required.
