ENGINEERING
Senior Crash Structures Engineers with Rivian Automotive, LLC in
Irvine, CA. Develop vehicle design in support of all
crashworthiness regulations for North America & international
markets.
Requirements: Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical
Engineering, or a closely related field & 3 years of [or a
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
or a closely related field & 5 years of] experience witjh
Automotive body structures, material properties, joining
methodologies, & the ability to model & analyze these using
LS-Dyna. Experience must include working with automotive design &
development process, system requirements, & general engineering;
Co-relating model to physical test data; Using crashworthiness
software LS-Dyna, ANSA, PRIMER & Hyperwrks; & building &
maintaining components & full vehicle models for CAE
assessment.
