To support our development and deployment tasks, we are building up a Modeling and Simulation team to support our efforts. Our goal is to create a modeling and simulation capability to support all stages of our current and future product life cycles, from prototype development all the way to deployment, training, and sustainment. WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Have an outsized impact on the culture and key architectural decisions of the team
• Work on challenging problems in a fast-paced environment from across our portfolio of programs and products
• Simulation solutions for Guidance, Navigation, and Control algorithm development
• Software-In-The-Loop (SITL) solutions
• Hardware-In-The-Loop (HITL) solutions
• Pilot-In-The-Loop (PITL) solutions
• Customer product training solutions
• Work with multi-disciplinary subject matter experts to understand and adequately model pertinent sub-system, system, and system of system dynamics
• Work with internal and external customers to understand simulation requirements and develop efficient modeling and simulation solutionsREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5 years in relevant Science and/or Engineering related field; relevant academic experience (BSc. etc.) qualifies
  • Knowledge of flight dynamics/flight physics and control
  • Nominal proficiency with C/C++
  • Nominal proficiency with scientific computing systems (Mathworks products (e.g., MATLAB, SIMULINK etc.), scientific Python (e.g., numpy, scipy))
  • Must be able to obtain and hold a U.S. Top Secret security clearancePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
    • Experience with rotorcraft/VTOL vehicles
    • 10 years in relevant Science and/or Engineering related field; relevant academic experience (BSc., MSc. Phd) qualifies
    • Advanced proficiency with C/C++
    • Advanced proficiency with Mathworks products (MATLAB, SIMULINK etc.)
    • Experience with model development to support Guidance, Navigation, and Control algorithm development
