Autonomous Driving Cloud DevOps Engineer - Managed AI


We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud DevOps Engineer with experience in the autonomous driving industry to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS and be able to design, implement and maintain infrastructure for our autonomous driving systems.


Responsibilities:


Design and implement infrastructure for autonomous driving systems on AWS

Create and maintain automation scripts for deployment, scaling, and monitoring

Collaborate with development and research teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of systems

Continuously improve infrastructure and systems through monitoring, performance tuning and cost optimization

Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, deployment and operation

Provide technical guidance and support to other teams

Qualifications:


3+ years of experience with containerization, specifically Docker and Kubernetes

3+ years of experience with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Elasticsearch, and Kibana

2+ years of experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, or Travis

3+ years of experience with autonomous driving systems is a plus

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field

Ability to travel up to 30%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Preference will be given to candidates with:


Experience in deploying and maintaining autonomous driving systems in production

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Strong understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements

Strong experience with scripting languages such as Python and Bash

Strong experience with infrastructure as code, specifically Terraform or CloudFormation

Strong experience with AWS, including EC2, ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, and other services

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $119,000 to $199,000.


You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
