What You'll Do As the Chief Marketing Officer,you will shape our brand identity, messaging and overall marketing strategy. Reporting to our CEO, the CMO will be animportant part of our executive team. The ideal candidate must be vibrant,creative, an expert in all things marketing and communications, a leader with astrong voice and presence across our organization, and embody our values.The CMO will be responsible for elevating our quality of standards across theboard. We expect the CMO to push the boundaries and drive our teams hard toensure thought leadership, creativity and consistency in representation of our brand. The CMO will lead our corporate & product marketing,communications and creative teams.--

• Develop, refine and ensure accountability for all processes and policies as it relates to our brand
• Collaborate with leaders across the organization to plan and deliver on marketing and growth objectives
• Establish strong, effective relationships with external partners including, but not limited to; public relations, events, creative, etc.
• Utilize market & internal data to deeply understand our customer base as a key to planning, decision making and executing
• Support BU Product Marketing leads in standardization of all things product marketing to include, processes, partners/external relationships and practices
• Establish required levels of competency and governance around processes to ensure team members can operate independently while adhering to Veritone's standards of quality
• Own the creation of our "voice" and ensure consistency across the company--
• Provide oversight and approval on all aspects of Thought Leadership to include, but not limited to; PR, media, placements, press and analyst relations, brand/design management, corporate events, social media, and more.
• Ability to blend the perfect mix of analytics and creativity when developing marketing solutions
• Own approval of all aspects of GTM strategy and execution
• Provide support to business units & product marketing leads around sales and channel enablement
• Build brand strategy & awareness to increase visibility and drive business across all platforms
• Oversee and approve all things lead generation to include, but not limited to; campaign strategy & execution, inbound/outbound orchestration, marketing automation, web properties and more! What You'll Need
  • 12+ years experience spanning a combination of marketing, growth, product management and business analytics with direct hands-on experience in marketing for B2B Enterprise, SaaS, AdTech, and Government--
  • Proven ability to help scale a business from its growth stages to the next level and/or experience at a start-up where you've built a brand from the ground up
  • Led a fast-paced, hyper-growth marketing & communications organization
  • Exceptional eye for quality and unwavering commitment to high standards across all marketing, communications and creative functions
  • Extremely high level of attention to detail--
  • Proven ability to effectively lead, coach, mentor and grow a team comprised of multiple functions that fall within our Marketing discipline
  • Entrepreneurial at your core, you must be a self-starter with initiative, drive and capable of executing rapidly with limited strategic direction--
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with individuals at all levels, across a variety of disciplines Bonus Points If
    • BS degree required; MBA degree and top institutions preferred.
    • Strong background in developing strategy for multi-faceted marketing functions and the establishment of team objectives and key results
