Under the direction of Dr. Daniel Amen, manages and administers the operation of the Change Your Brain, Change Your Life Foundation and development/fund-raising efforts. Responds to inquiries from staff, the community, and/or external agencies. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: ? Supervises administrative professionals, paraprofessionals, and technical support.? Develops and oversees the implementation of short-range, long-range and strategic planning and related performance measurements and tracking processes for the END MENTAL ILLNESS NOW Foundation in collaboration with the Foundation Board, staff, and others as needed.? As a spokesperson for END MENTAL ILLNESS NOW Foundation, relays the messages of the Foundation effectively and persuasively to different groups and in varied forms.? Develops, recommends, and administers policies, procedures and processes in support of Foundation goals and operations, in accordance with relevant legal parameters, and implements and monitors compliance with approved policies, procedures and processes.? Supports the Foundation Board and designated Board committee operations; develops agendas, related documentation and minutes for meetings.? Participates in/on a variety of meetings, committees, taskforces and/or other related groups to communicate information regarding the Foundation and its initiatives.? Positions in this job classification may perform all or some of the responsibilities above and all positions perform other related duties as assigned.? Directs the implementation of private fundraising in coordination with the END MENTAL ILLNESS NOW Foundation Board of Directors.? Manages campaign and solicitation strategy for the Foundation Board, committees and development staff. Develops and oversees multiple fundraising initiatives to meet annual revenue goals.? Responsible for the identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of individual major donors to the END MENTAL ILLNESS NOW Foundation.? Directs the operations of the END MENTAL ILLNESS NOW Foundation to advance the Foundation's goals, in coordination with the END MENTAL ILLNESS NOW Foundation Board of Directors, as well as the staff and community.? Develops and monitors the Foundation's budget and financial plans; authorizes and approves Foundation expenditures; manages the annual external audit process and works with Foundation Board and investment manager to ensure the most advantageous investment plan.? Oversees the Foundation's grant programs and ensures that these further the Foundation mission and strategic goals.? Manages operations that support fundraising, such as database management; prospect research and management; donor acknowledgement and communication; and establishment and management of fund agreements. Planning and implementing program components;? Compiling and analyzing data;? Effectively directing multiple fundraising initiatives in support of college priorities;? Building and expanding private philanthropy;? Developing and maintaining effective relationships with members of the community, business and industry, management, board of directors, foundation board, staff and volunteer fundraisers;? Utilizing computer technology for communication, data gathering and reporting activities;? Communicate effectively through oral and written mediums. Education and Requirements: ? Relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement on a year-for-year basis. Professional level fundraising experience, preferably at the director level; experience in Foundation Board development, annual giving, foundation and corporate relations, personal solicitation of major gifts, capital campaign planning and implementation, volunteer training and estate planning is required.
