Job Description:
Job Summary
The Director Revenue Cycle is responsible for effectively managing
Hoag Clinic Epic revenue cycle operations which include:
Responsible for the Epic system operational revenue cycle
activities
Maximizes reimbursement within contractual terms
Implements new programs
Increase cashflow
Minimize bad debt
Provides outstanding patients services
Provide overall strategic direction for all Epic billing/collection
activity

Education and Experience
Bachelors' degree or equivalent experience
Six plus years experience in revenue cycle and/or billing
practices
Knowledge of third-party payers, Medi-Cal, Medicare, State, and
Federal Programs
Knowledge of denial management practices

Physical Job Requirements
Work Environment and Hazards: Office environment - exposure to
paper dust, toners (printers, photocopy machines, and fax
machines). Possible exposure to hazardous materials, communicable
diseases, and risk of physical injury. Repetitive motion of hands
due to heavy computer work.
Reporting Relationship:
Reports To: VP and CFO - Hoag Clinic
Position Supervises Manager Collection, Manager Billing, Manager
Customer Service. Additional staff to be assigned by VP and CFO -
Hoag Clinic.
