Subject Matter Expert on the various areas and products of the
Studio Team. Interface with clients to design and manage delivery
for a named set of custom developed or vendor software
products.
Work You'll Do:
- Providing technical and architectural leadership for Salesforce
applications - focusing on Force.com, Lightning
- Leading projects involving Lightning and Einstein Analytics
(Tableau)
- Defining technical evaluation criteria for product and
technology selection and determining technical approaches to ensure
all architectural solutions result in a coherent systems
design
- Leading technical design sessions with the development teams,
including the creation of class models, sequence diagrams,
component models, etc., and detailed design specifications ensuring
that architecture standards are followed
- Applying research and development, prototyping, and vendor
evaluations
- Providing expert knowledge of mobile application architecture
to business and technology teams and facilitate the collaborative
development of the technology strategy, technology standards,
roadmaps, and practices
- Leading development teams during the analysis, development, and
testing processes
- Communicating issues as well as opportunities to leadership and
client stakeholders so that technology risks, costs and benefits
can be evaluated
- Defining and validating non-functional (technical)
requirements, and establishing traceability between requirements
and application architecture/design
- Leading production troubleshooting and 'War Room'

clients to ensure that they sustain a competitive advantage and
stay ahead of the innovation curve. Our team has the analytical
skills needed to parse mountains of data, the technical proficiency
required to deliver custom solutions, and stellar communications
skills needed to present research, discovery, and recommendations
in logical and easily understandable ways.

Deloitte Application Studios (DAS) is the internal software and
applications development team responsible for delivering
leading-edge technologies to Deloitte professionals. Their broad
portfolio includes web and mobile productivity tools that empower
our people to log expenses, enter timesheets, book travel and more,
anywhere, anytime. DAS enables our client service professionals
through a comprehensive suite of applications across the business
lines. In addition to application delivery, DAS offers full-scale
design services, a robust mobile portfolio, cutting-edge analytics,
and innovative custom development.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Minimum of 6+ years of core experience in Salesforce design,
development
- Minimum of 3+ years of Enterprise full life cycle Architect
experience of Salesforce/Force.com projects
- Minimum of 1 + years of leading technical teams
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business
Administration, or related discipline. While an advanced degree is
preferred, the value is placed on the extent of the relevant
experience and accomplishments.
Preferred Skills:
- Salesforce Certified - Salesforce Admin and Developer
Certification and one or more Architect Designer
certifications
- Full lifecycle experience in solution definition and
development and testing of the Salesforce application
- Experience with Apex, Visualforce, Java, JavaScript, and XML
and their use in the development of cloud solutions
- Practical deployment knowledge of Visualforce, Salesforce
configurations, Apex classes, AppExchange deployment
- Design experience with Force.com, Salesforce Integration,
Lightning
- Understanding of key Salesforce architectural concepts (e.g.
API and governor limits) and how they influence design
- Experience with different Salesforce Clouds and Integration
experience
- Clear understanding of event-driven and delegate-based design
paradigms
- Clear understanding of load testing, static, dynamic scans and
experience in guiding development team(s) to resolve performance
and security issues
- Experience in data modeling techniques and knowledge and
applicability of various normal forms
- Experience in developing IT architecture plans and software
development methodologies
- Excellent communication, presentation, influencing, and
reasoning skills to earn support of business leaders, technology
leaders, colleagues, and vendor representatives
- Creativity and ability to think outside-the-box while defining
sound and practical solutions
- Must be ready to work in EST/CST time zone
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
- Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and
the clients and industries/sectors you serve
- Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud, Einstein Analytics
(Tableau) and Lightning
- Experience delivering packaged software or SaaS is a big
plus
- Experience with AzureDevOps build pipelines and release
management
- Data Migration experience
- Usage of automated build and/or unit testing and integration
systems
- Desire to take the initiative, moving projects/ideas forward
with clarity
- Leadership skills to indirectly lead cross-functional teams
towards common solutions
- Working experience on middleware tools like MuleSoft
- Leading SAFe certified
- Project Management experience of Agile/SCRUM/SAFe projects
- Experience in working in a global environment involving
multiple development sites on various time zones.
For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado or
Nevada, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable
estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation
range is specific to the State of Colorado and the State of Nevada
and takes into account the wide range of factors that are
considered in making compensation decisions including but not
limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and
certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The
disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable
geographic differential associated with the location at which the
position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an
individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their
role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and
circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the range is
$104,575-192,590.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual
incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program,
whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including,
without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
