Job Description:
The Workplace Design Manager's key responsibility will be in the
thoughtful application of Deloitte's workplace design strategy for
location-specific projects.They will work within Real Estate
Services, and team with internal partners (Operations, ITS,
Security) and external consultants in the development, application
and refinement of Deloitte's Workplace Strategy.The position
requires in-depth knowledge of how hybrid work and technology
advancement is driving changes in real estate, workplace strategy,
and design.The Workplace Design Manager will report directly to the
Workplace Design Leader.Responsibilities:Drive thoughtful
application of Deloitte's workplace strategy and design on projects
in partnership with our internal and external teams; drive quality
reviews and push innovationDrive continuous improvement in delivery
process and design of Deloitte's workplace strategy, given the
speed of change and staying out in front to deliver an innovative
approachManage measurement process (surveys, focus groups, etc.)
leading to the refinement and improvement of designManage feedback
process and updates to design standards documentation from
Operations, ITS, and SecurityDocument and maintain workplace design
guidelines and specificationsDevelop and document workplace
furniture standardsEducate and communicate across Deloitte teams,
to deliver understanding of Deloitte's workplace strategy, why
(background), and the value for DeloitteJob Requirements:Minimum
B.A. or B.S. in Interior Design or ArchitectureEight+ years,
experience designing corporate interiors, leading all aspects of
design, leading senior client presentations, and alternative
workplace strategy developmentPrevious experience managing design
and service providers is preferredStrong communications (written
and verbal) skills; proficient in English (written and spoken);
technical writing skills preferredMust be legally authorized to
work in the United States without the need for employer
sponsorship, now or at any time in the futureCompetencies:Ability
to effectively persuade clients, build strong relationships, team
well with others; a strategic thinker who is visionary with future
focus on workplaceAbility to navigate and successfully manage
discussions with local office leadership about the design and
rationale for various design attributes and metricsAbility to
manage tactical components to completion at scale across large
projects or multiple teams and work streamsEnergetic, creative
thinker, who can think broadly and deeply, bringing greater value
to our approachSelf-starter, highly motivated individualAbility to
work remotely in a virtual teamTravel will be required.The wage
range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors
that are considered in making compensation decisions including but
not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and
certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The
disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable
geographic differential associated with the location at which the
position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an
individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their
role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and
circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current
range is $86,425 - $177,470.You may also be eligible to participate
in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules
governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various
factors, including, without limitation, individual and
