Learn more about our purpose and how you can bring it to life as an Ameris Bank teammate.Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:Handling all customer communications in a friendly, professional, and timely manner.Handle incoming calls, e-mails, and written correspondence.Collecting delinquent payments and handling administrative calls.Coordinating interdepartmental responsibilities to ensure a timely customer response.Processing billing and insurance inquiries, customer complaints, payoffs, and other tasks assigned.Maintain a working knowledge of company policies and procedures.Required Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:Ability to proactively manage daily responsibilities for assigned tasks.Ability to interact with management daily for problem resolution.Must be able to multi-task responsibilities.Strong verbal and written skills required.Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)Industry and Work Experience:A minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service/collections.Academic:High school diploma or GED required.Bachelor's degree in finance or related field preferred.Benefits Available to Employees:Ameris Bank provides a comprehensive employee benefit package to all eligible employees.Medical, Dental and Vision InsuranceAmeris Bank absorbs a major portion of the cost of healthcare.
