POSITION PURPOSE: Supports the new construction or remodeling of
locations throughout the development and construction process. This
includes working independently, managing schedules, costs of
company construction projects and project administration tasks.
Coordinates timelines on franchise projects, educates franchisees
on processes and procedures, documents construction schedules, and
provides updates with minimal supervision.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Acts as Sitefolio software administrator- Provides technical
support to internal users, monitors and updates system data
integrity and security.
- Manages project information within Sitefolio development
software, including project schedules, capital accounting,
reporting as well as file and photo management.
- Uses software to issue purchase orders, reconcile invoices,
ensure vendor accuracy and report on capital spending.
- Interfaces with general contractors and internal/external
construction managers to gather status information and process
change orders, liens, and lien releases.
- Coordinates cross functionally with legal and finance
departments for contracting and capital reconciliation.
- Meets regularly with the Director, Design and Construction to
review current projects under construction, follow up on
current/pending issues, process additional requests, and obtain
additional projects.
- Interacts professionally and ethically; constructively
participates as a collaborative team member or leader in pursuit of
common goals.
- Assists franchise sales and real estate as needed with mapping
and presentations.
- Works independently to ensure timely development of new
construction and remodel projects. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This role has no oversight or accountability over others.
QUALIFICATIONS - EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS: To

Education/Work Experience: High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
required, BA/BS degree preferred . Minimum five years (5) of
work-related experience in the construction industry, preferably
with a multi-chain concept.
License/Certifications: Possess and maintain a valid driver's
license.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Comprehensive knowledge of development/construction
terminology, documents, and contracts.
- Experience with Franchisees as owner-representative.
- Strong administrative and clerical skills
- Exceptional attention to detail is required to review
documents/invoices for accuracy, ensure completeness and compliance
with EPL standards, initiate follow-up and follow through.
- Exceptional organizational skills: ability to consistently
prioritize, coordinate numerous tasks, plan work assignments and
work under the pressure of frequent and tight deadlines.
- Ability to effectively speak with internal customers, vendors,
general contractors, franchisees and other business partners.
Ability to effectively listen and respond to stakeholder and
departmental needs.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of
variables in situations where limited standardization exists.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe
and Outlook required.
- Experience with Sitefolio and/or Sitewise, a plus. The pay
range identified is the hourly or salary rate El Pollo Loco expects
to pay for the posted position. This range does not include any
benefits or bonus opportunities that might be available for the
position based on position and eligibility criteria. Individual pay
will vary based on a variety of factors including years of
experience, industry experience, education, geography, etc.
