Description:
The individual in this position is responsible for acquiring and
selling a unique Energy Storage system sponsored and subsidized by
several utility grid approved programs and is aimed at Peak Load
Shifting ("PLS"), Demand Response ("DR") and Energy Management
("EM") related services to targeted Commercial and Industrial
("C&I") prospects.
The Account Manager will use a consultative sales approach to
develop long-term customer relationships at account and portfolios
for strategic through National named accounts identified in
assigned region. Primary objective is to maximize revenues and
profits, while assuring positive cash flows to end customers. The
Account Manager will triage and prioritize projects and will ensure
pipelines and closure rates are sufficient to meet business
objectives according to fiscal year plan.
- Develop territory plan and close new business opportunities in
assigned region
- Provide overlay sales leadership and expertise to sales lanes
including Inside Sales, Account Executives, and outsourced customer
acquisition sales team members, and driving singular process
- Develop and implement an overall plan to grow customer base
through the development of business relationships with direct
C&I prospects and targeted HVAC alliance relationships.
- Utilize his/her existing network and relationships, and build new
relationships to secure contracts with facility owners and tenants,
operators, and marketing partners, and any other influencer
stakeholder to generate annual profitable revenue targets.
- Market, educate, train, and execute contracts with electric
consumers who are capable of modifying their operations that serves
programs
- Assist in negotiating contracts for energy management related
services with prospective customers.
- Establish a clear and effective demand plan for customers to reap
fully integrated operational and bottom line results, some projects
may be staged. Requirement:
- Minimum of 2-5 years business-to-business sales experience
- Background in HVAC, Cleantech, Storage LED Solar, and/or Energy
management services preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering or related field; or
three to four years' related experience and/or training; or
equivalent combination of education and experience
- Established network of business-related contacts
- Consistent and proven track record of successfully closing
business
- Analytical and problem-solving skills; specifically, the ability
to apply technical knowledge to solve complex customer business
problems
- Aptitude for energy systems, with specialization in HVAC
(cooling) in C&I space
- Working knowledge of financial analysis activities
- Leadership skills and experience
