The Director of Credit participates in the loan management process by providing credit and loan underwriting expertise to the credit underwriting team.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes prospective loan transactions and credit worthiness of borrowers.
  • Validates the credit analysis prepared by the Credit Analysts and provides opinions and recommendations regarding proposed credit and potential risks.
  • Ensures all due diligence and background evaluation is complete and thorough before Credit Recommendation
  • Requires extensive technical expertise and full knowledge of commercial credit principles, financial concepts and regular use of ingenuity and creativity in solving complex credit problems
  • Advanced Analytics in credit data and financial statements of business and individuals to identify the degree of risk involved in lending money or extending credit.
  • Performs research to verify revenue, inspects reports from credit reporting agencies and reviews Fico Scores
  • Analyses vendors and various types of equipment for inclusion of lending programs.
  • Uses computer software to evaluate customers financial status and produce financial ratios
  • Train and mentor all team members. Required Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:
    • Advanced ability to analyze credit data and financials statements.
    • Strong Math capabilities.
    • Proven interpersonal, organizational, and analytic skills
    • Proven ability to remain organized in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects Industry and Work Experience:
      • Minimum 10 years of experience in Risk and Asset Based financing knowledge strongly preferred Academic:
        • High School diploma or GED required
        • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or related field preferred. Benefits Available to Employees:

              Salary Range - $129,945 - $217,008.
