Optum is a physician-led, close-knit team that has been

Optum is looking for a Hospitalist to join our team. The clinicians
we seek are those who practice medicine with a focus on patient
care, not volume. We want our clinicians to take the time needed to
truly address the patient's needs.

- Position will be based at Los Alamitos Medical Center
- Block Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off; 7:00 AM – 7 :00 PM plus
two night shifts per month
- Admissions and rounding on assigned patients
- Average Patient Census: 12 -15 patients

- Unrestricted California State Medical License
- Current California DEA certificate
- BC in Internal Medicine
- Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential job function of this
role. Candidates located in states that mandate COVID-19 booster
doses must also comply with those state requirements. UnitedHealth

well as all client requirements and will obtain necessary proof of

- Minimum 1-2 years experience preferred
