Position Type: Full-Time, eligible for benefits Available Shifts: Sunday - Thursday Tuesday - Saturday Salary Range: $28 - $34 per hour, based on experience. Bonus: $2,500 Location: 14610 Garrett Ave, Apple Valley, MN 55124 Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist Assistant: Support physical therapists in executing treatment plans for patients, ensuring compliance with prescribed therapies. Track patient progress and record any changes in their condition. Provide education to patients and their families regarding exercises and care plans to facilitate recovery. Apply knowledge of anatomy and physiology to deliver effective patient care. Qualifications for the Physical Therapist Assistant: Must have graduated from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program and hold at least an Associate’s degree. Must possess a valid MN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License. Strong understanding of state, federal, and local regulations related to long-term care is required. Ability to perform essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodations. Effective communication skills in English, both spoken and written, are necessary to fulfill job requirements. Demonstrated patient care skills along with knowledge of physiology and anatomy. Familiarity with medical terminology and physical therapy techniques is essential.
