together. As a full time, nonexempt Pharmacy Technician, you will
assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a
licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include preparing,
delivering, and restocking medications; performing order entry;
procuring drugs; billing. You will carry out your job duties
according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy
standards and regulatory requirements. Location: Memorial Hospital
of Gardena in Gardena, CA Pharmacy Hours: The centralized pharmacy
is open 24/7 and supported by Paragon and Pyxis Schedule: This
full-time, nonexempt position will work up to 40 hours/week in a
variety of day/evening/night shifts in this 24/7 centralized
pharmacy. Primary Responsibilities: - Prepare and dispense
medications by measuring, counting, labeling, and packaging
prescriptions under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist -
Process prescription orders accurately, including entering patient
and prescription data into pharmacy systems - Assist pharmacists
and healthcare providers by gathering necessary information and
supporting workflow efficiency - Prepare and compound medications
(including IV admixtures and sterile products) following hospital
protocols and USP standards - Process medication orders from
electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) with accuracy and urgency -
Deliver medications to patient care areas, including automated
dispensing cabinets (ADCs) and nursing units - Maintain medication
inventory by restocking, tracking controlled substances, and
monitoring expiration dates - Support medication safety
initiatives, including double-checks, labeling, and documentation -
Collaborate with pharmacists, nurses, and clinical staff to ensure
timely and safe medication delivery - Comply with hospital policies
and regulatory standards, including Joint Commission and local,
state, and federal regulations You'll be rewarded and recognized

interested in. Required Qualifications: - High school diploma or
equivalent - Current California Pharmacy Technician license in good
standing - Recent work experience as a Pharmacy Technician in an
acute care hospital setting - Proficiency with pharmacy software
Preferred Qualification: - PTCB/CPhT Pay is based on several
factors including but not limited to local labor markets,
education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to

hourly pay for this role will range from $16.15 to $28.80 per hour
