Avanti Restaurant Solutions, a successful, privately held, $40M company, is hiring multiple Commercial Kitchen Equipment Installers. Commercial Kitchen Equipment Installers are is responsible for delivering, uncrating, assembling, setting, and leveling in place commercial kitchen equipment. Duties and responsibilities performed by Commercial Kitchen Equipment Installers are intended to support Avanti Restaurant Solutions installation efforts for regional projects, both chain and contract. Please apply if you have the following skills:Ability to multi-taskAdvanced mechanical skillsStrong organizational skills and great attention to detailExcellent verbal and written communications skillsExcellent customer service attitudeAbility to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and O/M manualsCurrent working knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment (i.e. hoods, ice machines, dish machines, steamers, ranges, convection ovens, etc.)Ability to accurately and consistently track expensesDay to Day Responsibilities:Unload trucks and safely move equipment to limit damageSet commercial kitchen equipment in place for connection(s) to be made by contractorAssembly/ Construction:Assembly and interconnections to dish machines and components, Walk-in cooler/freezer erection,Hanging exhaust and condensation hoods, and install curbs and fans, Hanging/securing of shelving, racking, and other wall or ceiling products (i.e., pot racks, fry cutters, etc.),Assembly and installation of large deck-style ovens and roll-in refrigeration unitsRead work orders and kitchen plans, as required for installationRequired Qualifications:Current driver's license with clean driving recordFlexible in schedule to enable the company to meet customer needs - overtime and weekends may be necessary and requiredAbility to travel up to 100%, as needed1+ years construction experience, preferredThe is a full-time non-exempt position.
