HUMAN RESOURCE BUSINESS PARTNER Costa Mesa, CA Boardwalk Investments Group, LLC ("Boardwalk") is a privately held commercial real estate investment company. Headquartered in Costa Mesa, California. The Firm currently manages a commercial real estate portfolio comprised of retail, mixed-use, office and multifamily assets located primarily in Orange County, California and is led by a seasoned management team with over 50 years of commercial real estate experience. Since 2012, Boardwalk's investment strategy is to actively acquire, stabilize, and manage commercial real estate located in core, coastal markets in California. Boardwalk is currently seeking an HR Business Partner to join our team in Costa Mesa, CA. This position will be responsible for ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process Payroll Administration for multiple company codes on a biweekly, semi-monthly, monthly payroll schedule in ADP Workforce Now
    • Reviews quarterly wage and tax reconciliations
    • Reviews tax filings and deposits and makes corrections as necessary
    • Supports Human Resources with payroll and payroll-related activities
    • Responsible for the coordination efforts between payroll, budget and other departments to ensure proper flow and maintenance of employee data
    • Establish/maintain employee records; ensure that employee changes are entered correctly and made on a timely basis; review changes for proper authorization and adherence to APA policy including compliance with federal/state/local regulations
      • Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation
      • Evaluate staffing needs and recruitment efforts
      • Conduct new hire orientation and onboarding
      • Developing HR policies and practices REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
        • Bachelor's degree required
        • Minimum of 4 years HR experience required
        • ADP Workforce Now payroll processing required
        • Knowledge of CA labor laws, regulations, and compliance required
        • The ability to adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment with superior planning and time management skills
        • Ability to retain confidentiality in all transactions and have a high level of discretion including a confidential demeanor
