Job Description Position Summary The Business Analyst will be responsible for liaising with business users and team members to provide support for complex issues on the company's various digital applications and projects. This role has a primary focus on Brookfield Residential's website and data integration, including interactive 2D and 3D floorplan and community maps. The Analyst provides technical expertise to projects/initiatives including implementations, second and third level support of digital applications, third party and custom applications. This will include technical system work and end users at all levels of the organization. The Business Analyst is solutions driven, a problem solver and an effective communicator. Areas of Resposibility Support and Assist Regional and Center-led Teams: Liaison between NEWSTAR, IT, Digital Marketing, and Regional Teams in the technical support of assets for the myVision suite of interactive tools including, but not limited to, interactive 2D and 3D floorplan and community maps Troubleshoot and support issues related to Sitecore and NEWSTAR data integration, community map mappings, visualizer setup and options mapping (including but not limited to colors, products, and pricing) Providing technical support to 10+ regions throughout the company Assist divisions with setup of community map mappings, visualizer setup and options mapping Proactively identify potential issues or informational gaps and provide solutions Assist with connections setup as needed Assisting with other ad-hoc requests Assisting with the ongoing function of custom data integration processes Interacting with users, marketing teams, and IT personnel at various levels within the organization, and externally Implementing new automated solutions, when identified Providing training to end users and peers on multiple ongoing and new projects Documentation: Writing, reviewing and updating documentation for the digital applications and connections supported, including functional specifications, technical design, requirements documents, system configurations, analytics and reports, application integrations and support process, user guide, how to's, etc Identifying and writing digital application issues and enhancement requests (may be in the form of agile stories and epics) and document them in a requirements management tool (e.g. Jira, Microsoft TFS, etc.) Work with Project Manager, Development Team, Architect, Marketing Team, Management, agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure requirements documented reflect solution, customer needs, and business needs. Applications Sustainment : Investigating, troubleshooting, problem solving and resolving related issues/complex incidents and providing second and third level support, including root cause analysis, testing and documentation. Monitoring and analyzing supported services to identify opportunities for improvement and recommend solutions Installing, upgrading, maintaining, and testing digital applications including supporting different application versions Troubleshooting technical issues and identifying modifications needed in existing applications to meet user requirements Reviewing, coordinating and/or executing implementation plans for digital applications and maintenance updates Formulating steps and process for achieving necessary level of quality, developing test cases, and performing QA testing and regression testing IT Change Management: Follow Change Management Procedures when involved in any deployment changes to the various environments, which includes testing, documenting and deployment Must Haves Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a combination of related experience and education 2 - 6 years' of problem solving, debugging skills and application support experience Knowledge of MS SQL Server including exposure to scripting including views, stored procedures and triggers. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent English communications skills, both written and oral, are an absolute requirement Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and manage changing priorities Proven ability to be flexible and work hard, both independently and in a team environment with changing priorities Ability to integrate different vendor products to provide overall solutions Ability to work flexible hours and a willingness to work on a on call schedule, if required Experience working within a PM structure would be an asset. A results oriented, customer focused individual who thrives working in a fast-paced environment Nice to Haves Experience working with housing applications (preferably NEWSTAR) is desired Experience with Sitecore is desired Experience with SharePoint and .NET technologies is desired.
