Power, Utilities & Renewables - ADMS Database/Display
Conversion/Migration Manager

Our practitioners work collaboratively within integrated,
cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive strategies and

specialists across multiple disciplines from both within our
consulting practice and from our clients, helping drive towards a
successful outcome. Our practitioners are expected to own and
deliver their respective deliverables while managing different
clients and other stakeholders.
- Managers will lead and deliver large, complex client
engagements that identify, design, and implement creative business
and technology solutions for large companies.
- Manager level responsibilities include: providing service
excellence by identifying key client business issues, determining
client needs by supplementing the standard assessment techniques
and tools with innovative approaches, evaluating and validating
analysis and developing recommendations for the client in the
context of the overall engagement.
- Managers implement and oversee the quality of deliverables and
effectively manage the team and day-to-day relationships to ensure
exceptional performance.
- Managers participate in the development and presentation of
proposals for business development activities.
- Managers can lead small engagements or components of large,
complex engagements.
Data Conversion lead responsibilities:
- Analyze, confirm and convert legacy system data and displays to
the new ADMS Product software by working directly with the Product
Lead as well as the client business and IT resources, ADMS product
vendor, Report Data Repository Lead, and legacy system owners
- Responsible for planning, managing, directing, and coordinating
the data and display conversion and programmatic validation
activities for the project
- Work directly with the testing lead with respect to data and
display validation efforts as well as providing data, including
patching the converted databases to work around conversion errors,
to support test execution during the various test phases of the
project
- Work with the deployment lead to provide conversion support
during the mock conversion and go-live activities. These activities
apply across multiple product releases, initially focusing on SCADA
but expanding to OMS, Switch Order Managements, and DMS in later
releases.
Qualifications:
Required:
- BA/BS degree
- 6+ years of relevant consulting or industry experience
- 6+ years Power Utilities & Renewables experience
- 6+ years of project management experience including staffing,
budgeting and identifying issues
- 6+ years of ADMS functional/product knowledge
- Experience in leading a large team and managing consulting
vendors, subcontractor resources, and cross team dependencies.
Experience of developing and tracking detailed project plans for a
large-scale system integration project
- Experience in multiple full life cycle implementations of large
system implementation projects across multiple operating
companies
- Excellent relationship building and collaboration skills:
ability to build relationships with, engage and challenge multiple
client stakeholders across multiple business units
- Experience leading technical workshops and/or facilitating
meetings of mixed stakeholder groups across Business, IT, and
Operations
- Experience of developing and reviewing detailed design
specifications and documentation for multiple stakeholders.
Superior English writing skills with a key eye for detail and
quality
- Expertise in Agile and Waterfall implementation
methodologies.
- Experience with developing project plans on a large-scale
system implementation
- Experience with managing the detailed project plan; including
client, product vendor and Deloitte resources as well as cross team
dependencies
- Superior verbal, written, facilitation, and presentation skills
across various levels of stakeholders (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel,
and Visio).
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without
the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the
future
- Ability to travel up to 50% (While up to 50% travel is a
requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has
been suspended until further notice)
Preferred:
- Advanced degree in business or related field
- Experience with data conversion tools and technology
- Experience with display conversion tools and technology
- Ability to manage assigned tasks and coordination of
projects
- Experience supporting decision making and special projects on
integration issues, including the preparation, production, and
coordination of written products and briefings for senior
stakeholders
- Experience with tradecraft and publication and ability to
coordinate and support cross-community meetings and working groups,
assimilate large volumes of information, and independently produce
written reports
