This is a global rollout to all 5.11 Tactical locations and is 100% cloud based versus on-prem.The Systems Administrator will work closely with the IT team and the business divisions to optimize the performance and operations of the system. The Systems Administrator has ownership of the backend system, maintenance, training and education on its best use, and working with the global support staff as well as Microsoft. This includes Retail, Wholesale, and eCommerce users/systems on a global scale. This also includes evaluating line of business needs, assisting in identifying and developing system solutions, determining system implications, assisting with testing/test scripts, release notes, user guides, workflow diagrams, and training.RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provides technical and functional support in the areas of Microsoft Dynamics 365 administration, problem resolution, support, process mapping, testing, security & training.
  • Monitors system integrations and data flows proactively.
  • Identifies and escalates impediments, issues, and risks affecting system performance.
  • Identifies and documents ongoing maintenance requirements for any new or existing systems or procedures.
  • Ensures company policies governing data management are met including regulations concerning security, audit and privacy.
  • Participates in requirement meetings and workshops and shadows areas of the business to improve understanding and knowledge of core processes and systems.
  • Constantly focuses on building a high level of knowledge relating to expectations of system functionality and content, with mindfulness of quality expectations.
  • Identify training opportunities for self and users of the platforms; develop and provide training to facilitate knowledge sharing and to reduce/eliminate manual processes.
  • Monitor storage usage and archive data as needed.
  • Design, configure, test and deploy changes to database fields, screens, workflows, reports and dashboards.
  • Administer security rights and user/group roles, duties and privileges across all business lines.
  • Occasional travel to other locations as needed.QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Five (5) years as a dynamics system administrator or equivalent combination of education, experience and demonstrated ability.
    • Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required with experience in required skillset.
    • A proven ability to take ownership of tasks, understand system inter-relationships, perform code/configuration reviews, and provide expert technical input on design and development decisions
    • Evidence of good interpersonal and communication skills in both verbal and written forms.
    • A track record of possessing good organizational skills and ability to prioritize assignments under tight deadlines.
    • Experience in SQL Server database design and development is very helpful
    • Play a key role as a Microsoft Dynamics technical expert and system administrator
    • Must be able to speak well and work effectively with the Global Team.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Thrives in collaborative environment but comfortable with ambiguity
