Job Description:

The function of the Senior Accountant is an important role within Zymo. In addition to specific duties this person will be responsible for being the Controller's back-up when needed. Responsibilities: Back-up Payroll - Will eventually assist with implementing new software (timekeeping, payroll) Sales Tax Returns all companies -Zymo Research, Pangea Labs and Epimorphy Setup Fixed Asset reporting in NetSuite and maintain the records ongoing. Reconcile and maintain prepaid records. Intercompany accounting Create procedural manual for the Accounting Department. Can assist with other departments if needed. Back-up Controller on Daily bank reconciliations. Annual R & D calculation for CPA firm. Assist AR and AP when needed. Assist with accounting for other companies excluding Zymo.
