Job Description:

* Monthly closing for the department including bank reconciliation, GL reconciliations, intercompany transfers* Monthly and Quarterly Reports, Foreclosure Reports, Aging Reports, and other reports requested by management* Compile home loan documents, review for accuracy and completeness, and prepare for entry* Oversee loan entries, in Loan Ledger, Yardi, and Miniter* Oversee payables, receivables, and collections.* Generate weekly cash reports. Forecast monthly home sales and distributions.* Process purchase and repurchase of home loans including preparation of documents for owner signature and recording transfer of home loans.* Negotiate and draft Settlement Agreements, Forbearance Agreements, and Deferment Agreements for final approval by upper management.* Responsible for sending certified Demand letters, submitting accounts for replevin, and monitor evictions and replevins to assist swift outcome.* Responsible for Repo Affidavits. Responsible for providing loan documents for eviction cases where loans exist.* Oversee maintenance of impound adjustments and timely payments of insurance policy renewals and escrowed tax bills. Oversee impound shortfall notices and insurance cure letters.* Correct cash postings errors* Create documents and obtain resident signatures for title lien releasesAdditional Duties * Customer Services for loan-related questions/concerns.* Fill in for all other duties as necessary* Home mortgage collections* Generate annual 1098* Training of new employeesRequirement * Solid knowledge of Accounting Principals* Intermediate Excel* Excellent communication skills* Spanish Speaking a plus* Credit Management a plus
