FULL-TIME PERSONAL SECURITY PROFESSIONAL
Newport Beach, CA

Confidential Newport Beach Client seeking a Full-Time Personal Security Professional to provide executive surveillance and personal security for client in the areas of personal, family, and business to deliver close protection and mitigate any potential risks and threats to the client.


Job Responsibilities

• 
  
• Escort protection services for client and family in public settings
  
• Personal security on occasional international travel and family travel protection
  
• Develop executive security plan for surveillance, advanced planning, and contingencies
  
• Identify suspicious behavior or unauthorized people
  
• Check for vulnerabilities on client's estate and public venues
  
• Monitor or authorize entrances and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons
  
• Maintain composure in dealing with authorities, executives, clients, employees, and the public occasionally under conditions of urgency and in pressure situations
  
• Watch alarm systems or video cameras and operate detecting/emergency equipment
  
• Report daily activities or irregularities on estate or property
  
• Screen individuals in areas where client is about to approach, warn people about violations or rule infractions on certain premises and inspect or adjust security systems
  
• Answer telephone calls or take messages to provide information for your client
  
• Other duties as assigned
  
  
  Qualifications
  
  • 
    
  • Bachelor's Degree from accredited university
    
  • Minimum of five or more (5+) of experience in personal security or related experience for VIP/executive clientele. Secret Service Background preferred.
    
  • Military or Law Enforcement Background
    
  • Experience of working in a family-based environment, preferred
    
  • Personal protection training in firearms, physical defense, and driving
    
  • State and Federal Criminal History Clearance
    
  • First Aid, AED and CPR Certified
    
  • Ability to assess situations quickly with excellent judgement and decision making
    
  • Ability to think and respond to a dynamic environment
    
  • Ability to stay on your feet for several hours without a break
    
  • Ability to maintain high levels of discretion and confidentiality
    
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to interact and communicate effectively with others
