ULTRA MOBILE is seeking a talented SVP of Finance to lead the company in its next big growth stage. This role will be a hybrid role at our Costa Mesa, CA office and will report to our Vice Chairman and Chief Strategy Officer. ABOUT THE ROLEThis next key hire will help scale a high-performing finance and accounting team and will help shape the company's financial roadmap, as well as improving process and discipline. The SVP, Finance will lead our Finance team to drive the design, vision and strategy for the company's business plans. The SVP of Finance will facilitate enterprise planning, strategizing and managing of financial activities including being a key voice in financial decisions and the leader in budgeting, forecasting and mitigating financial risk; while working with our Accounting team to level up our practices. This role will also partner with our Strategy & Analysis group to ensure that the highest valued work is being prioritized. This individual will also be responsible for mapping the pricing recommendations made by the Strategy & Analysis group with a goal towards the broader long term impact on the enterprise.This role is a change agent. We are looking for a transformational leader who can bring the discipline and accountability we need across the organization. This role will focus on cost management, elevation of our finance systems and technology for the next growth stage and lead towards a broader metrics and performance driven culture. The ideal candidate thrives in a rapidly changing environment and comes from a multi-faceted business background; preferably an individual that has experience in a subscription/recurring revenue business with revenue of at least $700M - $2B in a finance leadership role. Ideal candidates will have expertise on sell-side M&A transactions, direct to consumer businesses, and working with hyper-growth companies.They will have the following responsibilities: Executive PartnershipFinance & AccountingEnterprise Financial Planning and Analysis Compliance, Regulatory Reporting & Internal Controls People Management TreasuryRisk Management WHAT YOU BRING15+ years of experience excelling in the same or similar position at the VP level or higher. CPA or MBA strongly preferred.Experience with telecommunications or subscription/recurring revenue experience is a major plus.Experience using large ERP systems (ex: NetSuite, PeopleSoft).
