Role:The Lead Trainer manages the day-to-day soccer training
operations of the TOCA performance center. The position is
responsible for all aspects of session quality, coach recruitment
and management, and training and development. The position is also
responsible for overseeing execution of all TOCA programs and
events. Responsible for trainers communication and output of the
curriculum and player pathways.The Lead Trainer will deliver the
TOCA curriculum. The Lead Trainer will be responsible for running
60 individual training sessions per month, managing coaching staff
of 7-12 trainers, overseeing camps, clinics and all additional
soccer programming within the TOCA performance center. This
position is a full-time role and will report directly to the
Facility Manager.Requirements: Current USSF 'D' licensed coach
(minimum) Have 3 years minimum experience coaching youth,
collegiate or professional soccer Have a basic knowledge of
Individual Player Development Have a basic understanding of local
club, recreational and school soccer programs Minimum Bachelor's
degree (preferred) Have a college or professional playing
background Possess the drive to develop youth players and lead a
team of trainers Ability to foster and manage relationships with
soccer clubs, programs, schools and partnerESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensure TOCA Training is operating according to
the TOCA way, mission, vision and values. Measure programming
success; create new development programs as needed. Forecast any
foreseeable issues, changes or needs. Oversee and evaluate
operations and training for All Soccer Programming. Supervise
Trainers together with the Facility Manager and review their
performance and session quality. Develop, execute and evaluate all
programs with assistance from the Regional Director and Facility
Manager. Create opportunities for all players to train, develop and
enjoy the game. Work with the Director of Coaching to recruit and
hire quality coaches to ensure that all players have quality
leadership and training. Continual education and mentorship of
coaches to learn the TOCA way. Assist with training sessions as
needed/desired. Foster and manage relationships with soccer clubs,
school and community programs with support of Regional Director.
Facilitate individual and team meetings to discuss performance,
training expectations, course updates and new technology.
Individual training up to 20 hours per week.Skills: Excellent
