Job Description:

Volt is hiring for Manufacturing Assembler for a great company located in Santa Ana, CA.

Responsibilities:

• Shim, fit, trim and align structural assemblies and sub-assemblies that vary considerably
• Assembly to another as with fairings and the mating of major assembly callouts, butt, station and water lines
• Assemble, install, rework, repair and modify aircraft structural, mechanical or electrical assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, systems, and airframe structures on aircraft systems
• Follow manufacturing planning, blueprints, schematics, process specifications, repair and rework sketches, written and oral instructions
• Report all non-conformance to manufacturing supervision or corrective action representative
• Identify production inefficiencies and suggests potential improvements to product or process
• Performs a wide variety of production and/or experimental assembly operations on all parts of the aircraft
• Makes difficult repairs and alterations per design changes, removing the required parts and making replacements
• The incumbent may be required to work from blueprints or project sketches and templates without the use of jigs or fixtures and should be able to perform a majority of the assembly operations on all parts of the aircraft
• May be required to do riveting on sub-assemblies or installations, which they are working on Qualifications:
  
  • The successful candidate must have a High School Diploma or GED
  • Prefer candidate to have manufacturing work experience or mechanical background
  • An understanding of computers and the ability to enter and retrieve data from PCs as required
  • MUST HAVE MANUFACTURING ASSEMBLING EXPERIENCE Shift: 1st
    
    Pay Rate: $18-$24
