TRD is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Analyst in our Purchasing Department. --The Senior Analyst Planner position is responsible for working with the management team to support strategic operational planning. This information is provided to all relevant internal parties and feedback is communicated to the supplier to obtain optimal results. Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively identifies areas of potential concerns with supplier while demonstrating good judgement in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions related to supply, quality and capacity constraints.
• Independently develop and execute ad hoc analysis related to component mileage while developing a re-use schedule in effort to reduce engine costs.
• Creation of an optimized schedule for planned usage at specific Race events which requires tracking and reporting of key mileage metrics.
• Creation of Supplier Forecasts that include financial analysis and comparison of expenditures year over year with quarterly adjustments that are aligned with the company budget.
• Partners with cross functional groups within TRD to monitor Development Cycle and effectively communicates critical information internally as well as Engineering data and results to the supplier.
• Vendor Contract Negotiation, Preparation and Planning to ensure there are no conflicts that stall the procurement process. Creation of Timelines, deliveries, fees and price-point protection agreements to reach a mutually beneficial set of terms and conditions.
• Perform Early Contract Audits and Supplier Performance to ensure vendor is capable of satisfying the expectations and deliverables. Requires analysis and consultation to ensure there are no budget, operational and staff resources that could lead to mis-alignment of the contract objectives.
• Commences Project Management planning activities to initiate kick off meetings, defines planning requirements for implementation, oversees execution of the plan, and monitors deliverables through project completion. Qualifications Qualifications: A successful candidate will have:
  • BA/BS in Business (or similar discipline) with an emphasis on Supply Chain Management and or Automotive Manufacturing preferred.
  • Direct hands-on experience in Supply Chain Management (including MRP, logistics management, forecasting and planning, and negotiating).
  • Direct hands-on experience in ERP/MRP software tools and practical application
  • Good understanding of basic Engineering processes and systems (for design, development, testing and manufacturing)
  • Ability to read and write complex logistical plans, technical reports and financial analyses.
  • Strong ability to convey ideas and streamline communication between TRD Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain to our suppliers. A successful candidate may have:
    • Direct experience with typical race engine components and manufacturing processes and experience working with a race team, engine supplier or similar.
    • Specialist knowledge in MRP Systems, master scheduling and inventory analytics
    • Research and awareness of new and upcoming technologies to improve quality, reduce cost, reduce lead time etc. for outsourced engine components. TRD is an equal opportunity employer.
