Irvine, CA. Responsible for component prodctn release & creatng CAD
to supprt prodctn dsign. Telecommuting permitted. RQMTS: Mast deg
or forgn equiv in Mech, Engng, or a clsly reltd fld & 3 yrs of [or
a Bach deg or forgn equiv in an acceptable as stated above + 5 yrs
of progressively resp] exp w/ automtve dsign & dvlopmnt prcess. Exp
must incl: develpng & relesng cmplx sheet metl subassmblis;
Intrprtng & undrstndng CAE rslts (Fatgue, Safty, Formablty);
strngth calcultns, materl selctn, part constrctn, & prt specifictn
involvd in prototypg, fabricatng, & manfactrg assgnd prts & systms;
dsigng & dvelopng cmpnents, prts, & systms; wrkg wth Unigraphics
(UG) to direct dsgnrs to make design changes on cmpnents; &
implmntng dsgn ideas / features by preprng, chckng & issuing 2D &
3D drawngs/lyouts, calculatns & anlysis & confrmng prtotyp prts
