ULTRA MOBILE is seeking a talented Director of Supply Chain to join the Supply Chain Team in Costa Mesa, CA! Individual reports to VP, Supply Chain. Role is in office - must be local to the Costa Mesa, CA office.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Director of Supply Chain will have responsibility for delivering exceptional supply chain performance. This role is both strategic and tactical in nature and will have partial oversight of UVNV's distribution warehouse, partner distribution operations, e-commerce fulfillment and shipping, as well as the supply chain organization, including: inventory planning/procurement, demand planning (forecasting), returns and transportation/logistics.

Your usual day of awesomeness includes:

• Work closely with the Vice President of Supply Chain, developing and executing on an integrated strategy related to current and future needs to deliver low cost, high quality products, industry-leading flexibility, and customer satisfaction.
• Owns end-to-end Inventory management and conducts regular inventory cycle counts/reconciliation.
• Define, measure, and achieve the Key Performance Indicators for supply chain operations' teams.
• Conduct 1:1 meetings with direct reports in order to provide updates on progress, rock review, and core values.
• Conduct quarterly 555 conversations with direct reports.
• Establishes and implements best practices, processes, and procedures for the team and ensures the team meets or exceeds critical targets.
• Identifies and investigates the Company's current and potential purchasing needs. Proactively develops competitive solutions and proposals to address needs. Builds and maintains strong internal relationships to ensure needs are understood and met.
• Models and instills a commitment to organizational values, creates and promotes a positive and supportive work environment, and fosters teamwork within the purchasing team and across departments.
• Creates a culture of continuous improvement for processes, systems, data, training, and people.
• Champions safety, security, and housekeeping principles at the Company at all times.
  WHAT YOU BRING
  
  • Strong knowledge of demand planning, transportation, inventory management, and logistics.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, motivational, analytical problem solving and strategic thinking skills.
  • Ability to build cross-functional partnerships and engage in and lead cross-functional teams and initiatives.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 10+ years in Supply Chain Management with 5+years managing high performing teams.
  • SIx SIgma and Lean a plus.
  • Thoughtful decision-making evaluating various data points in order to make sound decisions with little or no oversight from a supervisor.
  • Exceptional forecasting skills based on historical data and further interpretation.
  • Ability to put together cost benefit analysis.
  • Strong communication skills in order to succinctly communicate decision-making and/or seek guidance from Senior Leadership and partners.
