Architectural As-Built Surveyor
This is an exciting opportunity to work with the in-house Design Team of an experienced, fast-growing, industrial real estate company. Reporting directly to the VP of Design, the primary role of the As-Built Surveyor is to produce exterior and interior as-built drawings of our properties, with units ranging from 800 sf to 200,000 sf.
About the Role:

• 
  
• Field survey and measure existing conditions to produce high-quality, 2D as-built drawings. Deliver plans in CAD and PDF format, accompanied by site photos.
  
• Coordinate with Design, Property Management, and Acquisitions departments to establish workload, schedule, and access to properties.
  
• Travel to Los Angeles, Orange, San Diego, Ventura, and Riverside Counties job sites.
  
• Follow established layering, drawing standards, and operational procedures.
  
  About You:
  
  • 
    
  • 3+ years minimum experience producing as-built drawings.
    
  • Bachelor of Architecture or Associate's Degree in Drafting.
    
  • Knowledge of how buildings are constructed and the capability to identify building systems.
    
  • Manage personal schedule, follow directions, understand project scope, and complete deliverables.
    
  • Knowledge of ADA codes, such as restroom clearances, the path of travel, and accessible parking requirements.
    
  • Experience with AutoCAD drafting.
    
  • Must have private transportation and a valid driver's license.
    
    Physical Requirements:

    • Able to lift, push or pull objects up to 50lbs. occasionally. Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry, or feel objects on a frequent basis.
      
    • Will comply with all safety standards and procedures.
      
    • May reach above shoulder height and below the waist on a frequent basis.
      
    • May stoop, kneel, or bend, on an occasional basis.
      
    • Wear personal protective equipment (including gloves, mask, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hat, and vest.)
      
    • Move in and around confined, cluttered, and uneven areas.

      Rexford Industrial's reward plan includes great compensation packages, bonus eligibility, and long-term stock incentives. The expected hourly rate range for this role is $28.85 to $40.87 (annualized equivalent $60,000 to $85,000), with a 15% discretionary annual bonus target and stock grant eligibility.* The actual base salary and total compensation offered depend on a variety of factors, which include, without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location where the job will be performed. The final base salary and total compensation will be described in any offer letters.
