Schneider Electric IT Corporation seeks a Supply Chain - Inventory and Planning Specialist in Costa Mesa, CA.Job Description: Responsible for monthly monitoring and planning for reducing inventory levels to coincide with our healthy stock initiative. Support short interval management (sim) process in accordance with the schneider production system (SPS). This requires daily participation in materials sim meetings, documentation of barriers as well as barrier resolution. Work with other material analysts to perform monthly kanban analysis to ensure proper stocking levels of components for manufacturing. This will include periodic reviews of order for order parts to be considered for stocking in kanban and vice versa. Required to participate in daily operations meetings with various other functions of the manufacturing team. The individual will work with manufacturing engineering and manufacturing to provide value added lean solutions for material flow and material providing and handling. Play a key role in our yearly physical inventory process as well as inventory positioning and determination of daily production requirements for each product family. Manage FAS, final assembly scheduling, parameters for catalogues. Responsible for releasing orders and adjusting schedules to match demand from internal and external orders. Review and revise safety stock levels quarterly. Review align and report on forecast accuracy vs bookings through distribution requirement planning. Responsible for meeting monthly revenue for dedicated product lines. Manage inventory levels at distribution centers to achieve expected service to customers while optimizing inventory levels. Prepare weekly & monthly key performance metrics and review with management. To prepare in coordination with demand planners and marketing the introduction of new products and withdrawal of old ones. To set-up necessary controls to minimize new obsolete creation. To coordinate rebalancing opportunities inter-region and intra-region. Functionally manage several regional's Supply Chain Planning & logistics teams on several projects in multi-geographies. Build and drive the Manufacturing Process both for FG & components in order to secure the availability of Product all the time in DC as well Customer order - MTO and MTS. Give visibility, report status of projects, escalate if needed, and follow up action plan with Top managements team. Animate ramp up and or ramp down plan definition and execution. Requirements: This position requires four years of work experience in analyzing potential impact of forecast and production schedule changes on component procurement and production volume for an electrical manufacturing company. Additionally, the applicant must have professional experience with: (1) Monitoring material status on upcoming orders to assure timely completion; (2) Providing input and analysis to management of WIP, Finished Goods, and Component inventory levels; (3) Processing project orders, tracking order to completion, analyzing project costs, and preparing project invoicing and closing; (4) Utilizing fish bone diagram, cause and effect, root cause analysis, quick ship programs, and value steam mapping; (5) Coordinating with multiple supply chain divisions across the world; (6) Utilizing the complete manufacturing and global supply chain process; (7) Building and driving the Manufacturing Process both for FG & components in order to secure the availability of Product all the time in DC as well Customer order - MTO and MTS.; (8) Utilizing Master Production Planning, Tools Oracle Live / DRP Forecast and Citirix user; (9) Utilizing Inventory Management, Tools Oracle and One MM; (10) Utilizing SIOP Planning Tools Tableau System; (11) Utilizing Production planning and supply planning, Tools Oracle APSPROD / LIVE / Citirix / DRP; and (12) Utilizing OTDS / OTDM Managements, Tools Citirix / Tableau.EOE.Salary Range: $84,760/yr. - $120,960/yr. The U.S. compensation range named above for this full-time position, includes base pay and short-term incentive, is for candidates located within the U.S. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level.
