Job Description: As a Construction Superintendent at POLO Engineering, Inc., you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful execution of our construction projects. We are seeking a candidate who is fluent in both English and Spanish, possesses strong construction experience (preferably in underground utilities and/or lighting systems), and has a go-getter attitude. Key Responsibilities : - Oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. - Coordinate and collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and team members to ensure project goals are met. - Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules. - Conduct regular site visits to ensure safety, quality, and compliance with specifications. - Resolve any construction-related issues and troubleshoot challenges as they arise. - Ensure that all construction activities adhere to safety and environmental regulations. - Foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and a "go the extra mile" attitude within the project team. - Keep accurate records of project activities and communicate progress to upper management. Qualifications: - Fluent in both English and Spanish (Bilingual proficiency is a must). - Proven experience in construction, with a preference for underground utilities and/or lighting systems. - Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and lead a team effectively. - Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset. - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. - Detail-oriented and highly organized. - Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines. - Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
