Job Description:

As anInternal Sales Specialist, you'll be responsible for pricing and positioning new business proposals through...analysis and screening of bid specifications,consultation with sales and account management on underwriting guidelines,proactive communication and follow up with brokers and internal partners,and data entry into our proprietary rating engine.This position may also assist with broker education activities and may make periodic onsite visits to a broker's office, in partnership with sales representatives.Bachelors degree or equivalent, plus 2+ years of experience requiredMust obtain Life & Health licenses within 3 months and apply for required non-resident licensesMust maintain licenses by meeting continuing education requirementsRequires ability to understand and maintain knowledge of insurance operations, products, and concepts with the ability to apply marketing strategies and systemsRequires strong planning, organizational, problem solving and time management skills with the flexibility to adjust to changing prioritiesMust have good oral and written communication skills plus the ability to develop effective relationships and motivate producer behaviorMust have excellent computer and keyboarding skillsMust have excellent level Excel skills as well as MicroSoft Office knowledgeSalesforce experience a plusMust work well under pressure and be self-directedSome travel may be required including overnight stays (5%)LocationThis position will be based in our Costa Mesa, CA field sales office.Work Authorization/Sponsorship At this time, were not considering candidates that need any type of immigration sponsorship now or in the future or those needing work authorization for this role.
